Overview
Run AI-persona usability tests on public web pages and design images from Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client. No account or API key needed to start; reading a report needs an invited Tespr account.
Tespr sends an AI persona to a web page or through a set of design images with a task, like finding a plan or signing up, and writes a report on where they hesitated, got confused or gave up. The Tespr MCP server lets you start those tests from the AI tools you already use.
Connect your AI
Pick where you use AI and follow the steps. It takes about a minute, and the third step runs your first test.
- 1
Copy the server URL
No API key or sign-in to set up.
https://tespr.vercel.app/api/mcp - 2
Add it as a custom connector
Open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, name it Tespr, paste the URL and choose No sign in. Then turn Tespr on in a chat under + → Connectors.
- 3
Ask for a test
Tespr replies with a report link in seconds. The report is ready in 2 to 4 minutes and saves to your account when you open it.
Use Tespr to test https://example.com/pricing. The visitor is a startup founder comparing tools. Can they tell what the paid plan costs?
Or let your agent set it up
Paste this into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any coding agent. It reads these docs and connects Tespr for you.
Read https://tespr.vercel.app/llms.txt and connect the Tespr MCP server to this client. Then tell me which Tespr tools you can see.
How it works
- You tell your AI which page or images to test, what the visitor should try to do, and who they are.
- Tespr opens the page or images and the persona works through the task. The report takes 2 to 4 minutes.
- Your AI gets a report link, not the report itself.
- Open the link and sign in with an invited Tespr account (no password). The report is saved to your account, and you can ask the persona follow-up questions. No invite yet? Join the waitlist. A link nobody saves lasts 7 days.
Server URL
https://tespr.vercel.app/api/mcpThis is a server address for your MCP client, not a page to read. It uses Streamable HTTP and needs no sign-in, API key or headers.
What you can test
- Any page anyone can visit: landing pages, pricing pages, sign-up pages, product pages, docs.
- Up to 6 design images or screenshots: public image links, or files your AI can read and upload. See test_images.
- Not pages or images behind a login,
localhostor other private addresses. - Figma prototypes are tested in the Tespr app.
