Connect a client
Set up the Tespr MCP server in Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf or any other MCP client.
Every client uses the same URL. There's no API key, header or sign-in to configure.
https://tespr.vercel.app/api/mcpClaude (web and desktop)
Works on every Claude plan. Free plans can add one custom connector.
- Go to Customize → Connectors.
- Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name it
Tesprand paste the URL above, then click Continue. - Under Authentication, choose No sign in, then click Add.
- In a chat, click + → Connectors and turn Tespr on.
On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds it once under Organization settings → Connectors; members then click Connect. Details are in Anthropic's guide to custom connectors.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http tespr https://tespr.vercel.app/api/mcpAdd --scope user to use Tespr in every project. Run /mcp inside Claude Code to check it's connected.
Codex
codex mcp add tespr --url https://tespr.vercel.app/api/mcpRun codex mcp list, or type /mcp inside Codex, to check it's connected.
Cursor
Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (every project) or .cursor/mcp.json (one project):
{
"mcpServers": {
"tespr": {
"url": "https://tespr.vercel.app/api/mcp"
}
}
}VS Code
Add this to .vscode/mcp.json in your project, then start the server from the file or the MCP view:
{
"servers": {
"tespr": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://tespr.vercel.app/api/mcp"
}
}
}Windsurf
Add this to ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"tespr": {
"serverUrl": "https://tespr.vercel.app/api/mcp"
}
}
}Other clients
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can use the URL directly. For a client that only runs local (stdio) servers, bridge it with mcp-remote:
{
"mcpServers": {
"tespr": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"-y",
"mcp-remote",
"https://tespr.vercel.app/api/mcp"
]
}
}
}Check the connection
Ask your AI: “What Tespr tools can you use?” It should list test_website, test_images, create_image_uploads and get_report_status.
